Computer numerical control (CNC)

Electrical discharge machining (EDM),

also known as spark machiningspark erodingburningdie sinkingwire burning or wire erosion, is a manufacturing process whereby a desired shape is obtained by using electrical discharges (sparks). Material is removed  by a series of rapidly recurring current discharges.

Innovative MD Welders

are experts at evaluating metals to choose the best welding process for the parts. When required, we then cut it up and send it to a local lab where they’ll polish it and evaluate the weld joint using a high-powered microscope.

Innovative engineers

are a major reason for our success. They not only provide engineering support for our own products but other companies utilize their expertise on a consultant basis for manufacturing process improvements.

Our 3D printer makes parts using onyx and fiber reinforcement.  This is achieved through a combination of fused filament fabrication and continuous filament fabrication technologies. Parts made using onyx and carbon fiber reinforcement can achieve strengths close to aluminum.  This technology can be used for prototypes, CMM fixtures and even soft jaws for traditional machining.

Although we only grind when our conventional machines can’t produce the desired results, our method is precise and always successful. Whether you need to achieve a specific surface finish or reach below a tolerance of 0.005, Innovative has got you covered.
